BECOME A VOLUNTEERWithout volunteers we would not be able to do all the work that is necessary to run our shelter. We are very grateful for our volunteers who make it possible for us to take care of all the animals in need.
Your help as a volunteer at the shelter will be extremely valuable to us. There are many more jobs that need to be done apart from taking care of the animals! If you have some time to spare during the week you could clean, walk a special dog, help in the cat house or carry out tasks that you know how to do. We sometimes need someone to paint, mend things, work in the garden, etc.
WALK A DOG:On Saturdays we take out all the dogs from the shelter for a walk.
On the day of the appointment please be punctual, bring adequate clothes, and resistant shoes. Please wait at the front gate to be attended to and respect the instructions given by the veteran volunteers, technical team, and staff.
Under age children must always be accompanied by an adult. It is important to mention in the email if you will be bringing a child with you.
We want to give the best service to our visitors and are always thinking of the well-being of our animals.
FUND RAISING:You can help by organizing a fund raising event. This could be anything from a dinner, lunch or dance event, etc. or just having a collection tin in your establishment. Contact us if you have any ideas.
DONATE GOODS FOR OUR SECOND-HAND MARKET:
You can donate second-hand clothing or objects to be re-sold at the second-hand market we organize on our open days and at other events.
Please have all clothes and items in good re-salable condition.
DONATE FOOD, BEDDING, ETC. FOR THE SHELTER
If you have clothes you don’t use any more, make sure they are clean and in good conditions, and can be reused. You can donate then for the second hand market that we usually organize at events and open days.
